Hi there! I’m amazed you have landed here! My name’s Ea Rayos and I have been told many times to open a blog, and here is my first blog! I’m going to start with that my interests have always been about cultures and travelling. From a small island girl to translator in translator in Panama, later to jump ship back to the US working in Marketing, it has been fun!

I studied languages back in Puerto Rico, and with this, I have learnt the cultures of these languages (Portuguese, French, English and Spanish linguistics, and a bit of Mandarin Chinese). I’m trying to use my knowledge to go by and learn more as I keep going, not that I have traveled much but would love to go far and wide. For now, Panama and Florida have been giving me this cultural exchange that I have been wanting.

Panama is a Latin American / Central American country (but of course you knew this), that has been receiving many people from all over the world thanks to the Panama Canal. From Chinese people to Brazilians, to Germans, to Russians, to Indians, and so on. I can later fill you all in on how it is that some of these have been arriving here and even how I met my Panamanian husband (hint: it was through Twitter, when it was named so).

There are also native indigenous communities! Something that for me has been impressive, because back in the islands, we don’t have these communties. Why? It’s another story that I hope will interest you.

One of my favorite countries to visit is Ireland. I’ve been there three times and it is always a new and fun experience. Although, my favorite destinations are the tropical beaches and to sit down and hear the waves.
